The Pile Shirt has also been re-invented for the modern soldier, it now comes with a choice of two detachable hoods, a Paratex Nylon wind hood and a Paratex/Pile, both are supplied as a standard issue along with a compression sack. Hoods attach to a concealed Velcro strip.
